Fort Worth sure has been crossing our minds lately so we took a field trip to Cowtown today! Doing research for one of our fave clients @asanapartners was a great excuse to leave our beloved Big D for the afternoon. And we don’t have to tell you this…but Fort Worth is amazing. 🤩 Wait until you see what Asana is up to in West Fort Worth. Lots of big things are on the way! We can’t wait to do the PR for this project! #thefoundryfortworthdistrict #fochstreetwarehouses #fortworthtx

Big thanks to @communitiesfoundationoftexas, @agenzpr, and the @unt.mayborn for having our own @xineprogers at their inaugural “Non-profits, PR, and Gen-Z summit.” Christine was a member of a panel that discussed “Gen-Z at Work: What They Bring to the Table.” Christine was delighted to spread the word about our firm’s terrific experience working with the Mayborn School of Journalism Agenz interns. “They brought professionalism and dedication, jumping right into the team, functioning like a long-time core team member. They brought their own fresh ideas but showed eagerness and willingness to learn and adapt their ideas when business reasons we gave required tweaks. It was really hard when the internships were over and we had to say good-bye!” Thanks for putting on a great summit! 🏻

As a women-owned business, we want to close out Women’s History Month by highlighting some of our favorite fellow women-owned businesses! @kathryn.z.kent’s favorite is @purpose_tea founded by her friend, Chi Nguyen. “Chi is a force with carving a path for women in business, especially with championing and lifting them up and standing for a cause. Not only is Purpose Tea delicious and healthy, but they are focused on small tea farms and supporting female tea pickers to give them the opportunity for economic empowerment.” @ashhowland is a fan of @unrefinedbakery. “It was founded by my friend and fellow tennis team member, Taylor Nicholson and her mother, Anne. Celiac disease runs in their family so they were determined to bake without gluten and other unhealthy ingredients. They created new recipes and reimagined old family recipes and voila—Unrefined Bakery was born and now has five locations across the Metroplex with products in stores and their website.” @xineprogers admires Haylin Dennison. “She is a licensed clinical social worker in Hawaii who we met while presenting at the WE Rising Tide program in Oahu. With a mission to protect the mental health of Hawaiian youth, she started @spill_theteacafe to give a safe haven for LGBTQ+ youth, like her child, to hang out. Taylor Campbell loves @copppercrownstudio. “They are an Etsy shop based in Austin, TX that sells beautiful handmade jewelry. Claire, the owner, always includes a personal handwritten note with every order explaining where the beads came from or her inspiration for the piece.” @ohlafoods is Lexie’s personal favorite: “They make yummy food made with simple, clean ingredients all started by a local Dallas mom. After having some dietary restrictions she and her family wanted to eat healthy without sacrificing taste which they have done a great job of with their products!” What are some of your favorite women-owned businesses? Tell us in the comments!

If you’re staying in DFW this week and looking for things to do, the region offers some amazing hidden gems! In fact, add four of our clients to your list of local attractions… Deep Ellum Not only is it one of the best entertainment and night life districts in the city, but we bet you didn’t know the neighborhood is more than 150 years old. From rooftop restaurants and bars to shopping and the incredible live music scene it’s known for, it has something for everybody. Stop by the new Deep Ellum Community Center for a walking history tour and see artifacts and photos from its past. Then stay for brunch, lunch or dinner! Visit deepellum-foundation.com/deepellumcommunitycenter for more info. Bush Center Nestled on the campus of SMU is the George W. Bush Presidential Center, which was recently ranked as the 12th most popular U.S. landmark to visit on Presidents’ Day. The museum’s current special exhibit “Freedom Matters” includes rare founding documents like original versions of the Magna Carta and Constitution. In the permanent exhibit, you can also see an exact replica to scale of the Oval Office as it was when President George W. Bush was in office. While you’re there, take a stroll through the gift shop and have lunch at the popular Cafe 43. Visit bushcenter.org to plan your visit. Trinity Metro If you are heading out of town and airport traffic and expensive parking lots are raining on your travel plans, we recommend taking the Trinity Metro TEXRail. For $5 per day, you can park at one of five stations and take a quick TEXRail ride to the airport—or to lots of places throughout the Fort Worth area! Parking spots must be reserved in advance with the ACE Parking app. (You can save 50% on your one-way TEXRail ride to DFW by using LTP50A promo code in the GoPass app.) Visit ridetrinitymetro.org/texrail-ltp for more info. Las Colinas Vitamin D – Check! Go stand up paddle boarding or rent peddle boats on the Mandalay Canal. And/or buy a day pass on Resort Pass to enjoy lunch at the Omni Las Colinas pool while sipping cocktails or mocktails. Perfect escape! Happy Spring Break, friends!!

For the third year in a row, we’re proud to be recognized with a national designation as a Best Place for Working Parents! As a women-owned and led agency, it feels fitting to announce this on #InternationalWomensDay. Our agency is built on the bedrock of a culture that prioritizes the needs of working parents and offers flexibility when we need it. The work world has come a long way for women and we’re proud to be a place where our partners can simultaneously excel in their career and home life. Of all our accomplishments, this one holds a special place. ️ @xineprogers @taylorcampbell640 @kathryn.z.kent @lexieaderhold @ashhowland

Look what our co-founder @xineprogers has been up to in her spare time! Check out the latest article in @d_magazine by @jessica.j.otte about Ju-Nel homes—Dallas’ hidden mid-century modern gems sprinkled throughout East and Northeast Dallas. Christine lives in one of these MCM masterpieces and wrote an article for @dhome in 2006 that helped spark a years-long research journey by Mark Weeks to identify each home and uncover the history behind the architecture firm that created them. You can learn more about Ju-Nels and read Christine’s forward on the new website: ju-nel.com.

As an ad agency, of course we are looking forward to watching the industry’s favorite day (aka the Usher concert/Big Game). But we have another compelling reason. Our very own @taylorcampbell640 purchased advertising time for Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in 18 markets across Texas and Oklahoma. 🏟️ Look for the commercial and let us know if you spot it! It’s pretty amazing if we do say so ourselves. 🤩 #superbowl2024

We’ve come a long way since 2009. Initially fueled by the recession and late nights with M&Ms and Prosecco, we are proud to say we’re now ranked No. 22 on @dallasbizjournal ‘s list of North Texas women-owned businesses. Here’s to the clients who took a chance on us back then, the new business and friends we’ve earned along the way, new team members, and a renewed passion for our business model—providing clients with top-notch service and expertise while offering flexibility for our talented team. We are registered as a women-owned business with the State of Texas’ Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program, a 2022 Best Place for Working Parents, and we were recently recognized by the @wbenc, the gold standard certification for women-owned businesses in the U.S. Big thanks to Plamedie Ifasso of the Dallas Business Journal for capturing SparkFarm so well. And a huge shout out to our founders, @xineprogers and @taylorcampbell640. You were and still are pioneers in the marketing and PR industry. Thanks for taking us all along for the ride. Onward to 2024!
