Halloween was a fun-filled night for all of our SparkFarmers! From our empty nest team members who partied with neighbors and friends to our moms with teens and young kids…it was a thriller for us all. Be honest…anyone else passively snacking on their kids’ candy today? Just checking. We hope your night was as spooktacular as ours was! Happy day after Halloween! Meet Abby Evans, one of the newest SparkFarmers to join the team! And we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her… Abby specializes in marketing strategy and brand management and brings a wealth of experience to our clients. She holds an MBA in Brand Marketing and Corporate Strategy from the SMU Cox School of Business and has a rich background in brand management, having worked at Dr Pepper Snapple where she led key projects like the Marvel Movie Partnerships Activation, Team USA Basketball Activation, and the Snapple Brand Packaging Redesign. How’s that for a resume?! After her tenure at Dr Pepper Snapple, Abby founded her own consulting firm, where she successfully worked with a diverse range of clients—from consumer packaged goods companies to non-profits—developing brand strategies that established or enhanced their communications. And now she’s here at SparkFarm! 🏻 Outside of her professional life, Abby is deeply committed to civic engagement and supporting her community through various impactful organizations. She finds joy in spending time with her energetic children, embracing the balance between her professional and personal passions. Welcome aboard, Abby! Among the stellar advice they received from other business owners such as creating good habits, exercising, and developing a routine…Christine’s answer? Play tennis. Hear her out. We think she’s on to something. In fact, a few other SparkFarmers feel the same way about this beloved hobby. Allow us to introduce you to one of our newest team members. Meet Kate Dorff (@kidorff), event marketing guru, former White House staffer, and all around class act. Kate’s 20 plus years of experience in event planning began in Washington, DC while working for Mrs. Laura Bush’s Social Office in the East Wing of the White House. From Christmas parties to State Dinners, Kate’s attention to every detail was sharpened in the most demanding of environments. (THE WHITE HOUSE…the ultimate demanding environment in our humble opinion!) Following that amazing gig, Kate then continued her events career at the White House in the Office of Public Liaison executing events for President Bush, including managing the ticketing system for 15,000 guests for the Arrival Ceremony of Pope Benedict XVI as well as bill signings, award ceremonies, and international conferences. You know, just some small unimportant stuff.   After moving to Dallas in 2009, Kate’s expertise led her to specialize in corporate and non-profit marketing and fundraising events. From Super Bowl events to charity galas, corporate conferences and political gatherings, Kate’s love for creating unique experiences combined with her understanding of each client’s goals gives her a unique perspective and an edge in the industry.   On a personal note, she grew up in Midland, TX and enjoys spending time with her two sons, playing tennis, and WINNING in Mahjong. We are super lucky to have her and she’s already crushing it with our client, Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity! Help us welcome Kate Dorff to the team!! 🏻

This summer marks SparkFarm’s 15th anniversary! Happy birthday to us! 🥳 While we may be in our teenage years as a company, our collective experience as senior level public relations, paid media, marketing, and social media professionals is well into the centenarian years (100+ years combined). A decade and a half feels like an eternity and a millisecond all at the same time. We’re halfway to 30 and it’s been an amazing ride! But 30 is the new 20, right? Here’s to another year around the sun as a company and another year of changing our industry and our clients’ outcomes for the better.
